Meet the Pole Pride Performers.
Dawn (Cariad Cwtch)
With her sense of the ridiculous Dawn mostly performs comedy pole performance routines. Dawn also performs regularly with her Pole Doubles partner Sarah Hollingsworth (aka Sminxie from Cardiff's Sminxie's School of Dance) at Burlesque Cardiff as her Burlesque/Polesque alter ego, Cariad Cwtch.
Mika
Mika is currently studying BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Swansea. Aside from pole Mika is a roller derby addict, skating for Swansea City Slayers Roller Derby team. When not bruising herself with her hardcore hobbies Mika enjoys all sorts of music from Punk Rock through to folk and getting tattooed and pierced. Mika also campaigns for Animal/Human Rights. Mika took to pole like a duck to water and enjoys making up her own routines.
Ruby De La Rue
Ruby has a BA in Latin and an Ma in Marketing and when she grows up would like to have her own ice cream shop, although she should really open a cake shop as she makes possibly the best brownies in the world! Another horse lover, her hobbies include Dressage and surfing. With her long legs Ruby makes any pole move look glamorous!
Lisa & Rosa
Lisa
Lisa is studying Criminology at Swansea. She has travelled a lot and lived in many different places. Lisa has boundless energy and when not on the pole or at uni plays netball. Having always wanted to try pole dancing Lisa is now hooked and says that she loves the self confidence and strength that pole has given her and is proud that she can do such amazing things using her body strength.
Rosa
Rosa is studying BA joint hons in Italian and French. Her interests include other forms of dance and football. Rosa loves Italy and Italian food, both cooking and eating it. Rosa is a rock chick and adores classic rock, especially KISS, and she has been known to go trick or treating at Halloween disguised as members of the band!
Lisa and Rosa are our resident Pole Doubles act. Their routines are always fun and it is obvious watching them how much they love performing together.
Kat
Kat loves making cupcakes for people, almost as much as she loves things that are pink or sparkly. Another fan of tattooes, piercings and rock/metal, Kat got a 2:1 in her BA in Psychology. Kat is also a fan of ridiculously high heels and can actually walk in them! Kat is a fierce poler who will not let a move get the better of her!
Tasha
Tasha is our little devil! The most mischievous member of the performers, Tasha loves heels and dressing up and her favourite pole move is Extended Butterfly. When not on a pole Tasha is mainly found in the naughty corner!
